The animation in this really plays on your mind...You encounter something so terrible and anciently powerful, that no matter what you do, you are completely and utterly at its mercy--so you might as well just remain still, and listen to the thing, hoping to glean some fraction of understanding that might allow you to survive the encounter. Even if against all odds you do survive, the nightmare of that presence will cling to your psyche for the rest of your days; there are some fates worse than death...
