@kellyjean4981

There are plenty of teachers in this world, but to be an exceptional teacher such as yourself is a gift.
That may sound like an exaggeration, but when I come across people who have the skill to teach as well as you do, I am always grateful

@tandar

Nice series
Minor point: Since debossing converges at the center point and the face features are drawn on an offset plane, the dimensions will actually be a little smaller at the surface

@JerryBWagoner

This was the very first video from this channel that I had trouble following along. It felt like things I had never seen before (like offset panes and arcs) we sped through like they were a review element that we should already know. It's possible I missed themearlier but I've been following these in order and that was after the "Dan the Man" class series. :)

In the end I was able to complete the video, but my face scetch never did get fully constrained but I finally gave up trying and moved on (perhaps there is an offset plane thing I got wrong). I'll go back later. I think for the next few instead of following along I'll watch them in their entirety and then start over with Fusion ready to go. Still the best channel out there.

@HobbesVid

Blue Lines - Saw this in the comments and I had the same issue, so I wanted to share my fix. When drawing the two lines between the offset to finish the smile, even though I carefully selected both end points on each arc, they still wound up being blue (unconstrained) for me. I found this was because even though I did the .008 distance between the first 3-Point arc and its offset, its offset was not fully constrained and I could still change the distance length by dragging an edge. Perhaps I missed something when doing the offset? However, I fixed this by drawing the first line, then putting a dimension on that line of .008. Then I drew a second line and gave it an equal constraint to the first line, then everything worked. Excellent video, excellent series. I've enjoyed working my way through them.

@echologged85

Fun Lesson! I drew it up twice, once with the video, going with the Alt+Tab shortcut to switch between F360 and the video, pausing and rewinding as needed. After that I drew it up referencing a screenshot of the the drawing. Still had to rewind through a couple of trickier spots for me. Another great video, thanks for all the time you've put into these!

@305doveridge

I just completed lesson 10a. I found it very interesting. I appreciate you making these lesson available.

@karolosmanski2309

Last 2 lessons were little bit harder for me but at the end, after few tries I was able to finish whole head from scrach to the end by my self, without the movie. With you as a teacher I really believe that I can learn Fusion! THANKS!

@karakairasa2161

Excellent tutorial!

@swisscheese911

For everyone having issues with the offset arc not being constrained (blue lines or white dots) ... Select Line Tool --> Apply to the 4 end points of the first arc and offset arc --> Select the dimension tool and select the blue line (not the white dots) It should be .008) --> THEN using the dimension tool again, select the middle of the EYE and the corner of the TOP arc and hit enter. I hope this works for everyone else, I replicated it a few times on my end.

Also, you may need to wait to do your Fillits until later. I had to delete mine to get the emboss to work. Now I am just having issues with warping.

@BatmanBruceWayne

I'm loving the lessons so far 😍I just realized that it would be better to have more pieces to practice what we've learned. Is there a resource or website where we could get pieces to create a 3D model from the drawings?

@ektopia

Really great tutorial. Things are really starting to make sense. Appreciate it.

@frankdearr2772

GREAT thanks :)👍

@EricDobsonTV

I forgot to add the .040 bottom fillet. Because of how great the prior lessons were, I was able to return and add it to the selection set in seconds.

@jimbessette5353

At 10:10 when you have created the offset your line turns black and so do the two endpoints on your offset arc. I cannot figure out how to fully constrain the endpoints of that offset arc. It's .008 from the other arc, but the dots on the ends are white, and can be lengthened. (Edit) Well, I ended up creating an arbitrary distance constraint on one of the dots and that made it constrained. Wondering if my version works differently from yours. I'm on the latest version of Fusion.

@askiagillette

Hello, I have a random question not necessarily related to this video but I don’t know where to put it so I’ll ask here. I am following along in this course because I like your teaching style. I completed this lesson last night and I like the pace at which I am learning. Ultimately I am choosing to learn fusion because I want to build my own chassis frames for go karts, model my own parts off of existing parts, be able important and draw parts that I purchase to use in my designs, to ultimately be able to test my designs and builds in fusion before investing the time and resources to build them. So last night I looked at your different playlist and was wondering do you have any videos on how to use the pipe command or working with pipe to build frames? I understand this is the function most will use when working with round tube and square tube chassis type things.

@UzunKamis

Thank you very much.

@lastlastlonger

Hi, great videos! I'm just learning 360. I have one question: in previous videos, you say to always create a new component, but in this video you did not. Is there a reason why? And if I am creating a multi-part design, should I do it like this?

@Grazfather

I like this faster pace vs. episode 1-9.

@oodakdak

Riding the struggle bus with this lesson, I may have some sort of setting messing with my software, But I am unable to select the face as you showed. I get a weird selection when left click dragging. I have been unable to remedy so I added the color to each side of the faces

@yakumste1060

Help please!

My OFFSET keeps having white points.
Why don't they turn black?
As a result when I try to connect it with the first arc, the small connection line remain light blue.
