Leaving my toxic ex husband. Everyone says I look like I came back to life, and more radiantly than ever before!
I wash my face with dandruff shampoo (containing ketoconazole/zinc pyrithione) and it removes my acne
Getting a "true self" mirror that reverses your image so that you see yourself as others see you. It made me horrified at first, to see my asymmetric face...but over time it has become the most useful, mind blowing tool for applying makeup, evening out my eyebrows, and even realizing how much my hair part effects my face. After 2 years it feels like therapy when I look into it. I have so much more confidence and symmetry with my makeup because of it. Its the game changer.
Realize that you might just not be your type. It’s most likely not that you’re unattractive, we all have types that we find attractive, and so if you feel like you’re falling below your own standards, you’re probably just not your type. But you are someone’s type! So it’s not too serious, just love yourself and don’t worry about ut
Whenever I blow dry my hair, I change my natural middle part to a zigzag part(?) Idrk how to describe it, but its a curvy monster lol. When it is dry, I return to the natural straight middle part, and bcs the hair wants to go into the other direction from being blow dried there, it adds a lot of volume. Hope this helps somebody❤
Put micellar water in foam cleanser bottle and use it in morning instead of face wash it remove access oil and product buildup from skin without striping the glow from wash work great if you have sensitive skin. I splash water on my face instead of wiping it
Put apple cider vinegar in hair for 5min between shampoo and conditioner in the shower, then scrunch hair with microfiber towel. It does strength and shiny wonders to your hair. Im a swimmer so I get exposed to damaging chemicals A LOT and it still makes my hair healthy.
Someone once said that I didn't like myself in red lipstick because it surprised me when I saw it, And to just wear red lipstick around the house when I was alone to get used to it. It totally worked. I took that and applied it to everything beauty. If I genuinely don't like it after a few days, okay, it's not for me. But more often than not. I just get used to it, and start feeling it, and that is the best beauty hack. Is just stop being surprised that you're beautiful 😬
Sleep, stop eating out, stop buying useless crap, allow your wounds to heal BEFORE PUTTING 500 BEAUTY PRODUCTS ON THEM (including popped pimples), and be kind to people (this last one makes you the most beautiful).
Witch hazel on pits and other areas the collect sweat and odor before any lotion or deodorant. It stops the smell BEFORE it starts.
Using rose water to exfoliate the lips. Wet lips with rose water. Pour a but of rose water in hand or a small container. Dip your finger in the rose water and start rubbing your lips . Wet your fingers with rose water every now and then and the dried skin starts peeling. But the same result can be achieved by gently exfoliating lips with a warm washcloth
washed my face with head and shoulders shampoo few times and it removed my red bumps of my face. leave for a min or so, and repeat every 2 weeks. works like a charm
Squeeze hair dry instead of rubbing it all over with towel. DO NOT TWIST THE HAIR. Just pull it all to the back like you would for a low ponytail and squeeze out the water. I have fine hair and it helps me avoid damage
If you forgot to put on deodorant you can use a alcohol wipe in a pinch to get rid of the BO and it helps you sweat less for a bit
I don’t think this comment section understood the assignment
Love the fact that this short is entirely about the comments section and our tips
Not really an unheard tip, but stopped eating sugar. No sugar at all. No cakes, no chocolate, no cookies, no juices, no 'no sugar drinks' nothing. Only vlid sugar was fruit sugar. All acne dissapeared, teeth got whiter, hair stopped falling out as much, armit and 😺 odor almost completly gone, apetite and taste enhanced, lost a bit of weight. Changed my life. Sugar is literal poision. I still sometimes have cravings and grab a cube of chocolate or eat ice cream, just not like before.
I don't do my skincare every single day. Instead I do it 3 day a week. My skin is calmer, less irritated and looks better than it ever did when I was doing every single step every single night.
