Egyptians, maybe 5,000 yrs ago. Sphinx, to have that weathering say was caused by the "Younger Dryas", the great flood, more than 10,000 yrs ago says the Sphinx is well over 10,000 yrs old. 😮

Nothing matches the accomplishments of the ancient Egyptians except maybe the ancient Persians. The Egyptions did alot of things that had never been done, and no civilization before or since has ever surpassed them for their sheer audacity in completing monumental works of building and architecture. Not to mention their monumental statuary, their mastery of working with precious metals and jewels...it is hard to believe that they weren't building on a legacy from some earlier civilization. For them to have spontaneously developed such a high level of architecture and mastery is, truly, astonishing - if it was truly spontaneous and not based on ancient knowledge passed down from even more ancient civilizations.

i don't believe for 1 minute that the Egyptians built any of the statues or pyramids they were here before they just coached themselves around them.. no way you can build that in bare feet and with wooden hammers..
