You know vaccines are truly effective just based on the fact that people start doubting their effectiveness. If you live in communities where everyone around you is vaccinated, you start believing that the diseases they protect against aren't that serious because you've never had to face them without protection

Hi Yahoo, your people writing this little short. Do not fully understand measles and its severity. One of the highlights of measles is that if you do get infected it it damages your immune system which can completely reset it or just temporarily suppress it. Which opens you up to secondary infections. Which is one of the longer term dangers of measles. Which are completely disregarding. So make sure you do your research before you post things that are important.

Tell the whole truth. The genotype of the particular measles virus responsible shows that it was imported. Patient 1 was "from abroad", not a Mennonite.. US endemic genotype virus was eradicated in 2000.
