“You were so smart you got it wrong” YES, the limitations of human wisdom and the arrogance of the human mind. That’s exactly that.
Great points. God is not hard to find but he is hard to follow, because following involves dying to yourself and obeying him. Finding God is not the challenge for unbelievers, but admitting that they don’t want him is. As believers, we were all there at some point, until God renewed our hearts. Let’s pray for our unbelieving friends ❤
Stephen Fry also talks about how he’ll finger-wag at the LORD if He ends up being real. Yeah, no you won’t. You won’t feel anything but awe and fear standing before the Holy One of Israel.
Great point on the ball, Mike. Especially as I've heard that Dawkins says that "he has to remind himself that there is no God, despite the incredible design of creation." Doesn’t sound too hidden to me .. even to him!! 🤷♀️
God did not hide Himself, in fact, He revealed Himself all throughout, and especially through the perfect Image of God that is Christ Jesus. Closing your eyes and saying you can't see Him is not His doing, but yours.
It take more faith to be an atheist than to be a Christian because there’s too much evidence of God
I love that these atheists think WHEN they stand before God, that they will be able to do anything other then cower
The heavens declare his glory, there is no excuse 💥 🕊️
God does laugh at the wicked. Thank you for posting this. Most people believe they are smarter than God. It's laughable.
Hi pastor (bro-in-Christ) Mike. Keep on making videos to edify, equip, and inspire all true believers of Jesus Christ. Thank you for all the topics you have been posting. God bless you more. And yes, above all, we honor and glorify Him in all we do (1 Cor. 10:31). Soli Deo Gloria!
Non-resistant non-belief does not exist as many want to claim it does
God takes pains to reveal himself without destroying us.
Faith IS THE EVIDENCE of things not seen, and the substance of things hoped for.
I'd Rather Be Right Now, Then Wrong Later !
"God took such pains to hide himself"...not if you WANT to find Him
“For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?” 1 Corinthians 1:19-20 NIV
God gave Bertrand Russell 100 yrs knowing he was going to a horrid place. A gracious kindness.
As a former theist I'd say that you should question everything
Luke 11:9 "And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."
