I had a smile on my face all through this vid, I have suffered all my 73 years with the young monks problem, and it is about time I took the old monks advice, but it is easier said than done.

This is such a needed message. Releasing what no longer serves us is real freedom. Thank you for sharing this wisdom

@dorothylee9242

A true true way on how to embrace life. God doesn't give you more than you can bear.
 Let go and trust the Almighty.

@BappyGolder

This story beautifully captures the strength it takes to release what no longer serves us. Truly a message everyone needs to hear.

@carolkelly2121

Shut the door to the past so that God can open the door to the future.

@BeyondTheDream-TV

Indeed a powerful lesson, letting go isn't easy but it's a way to freedom and peace

@Buddhistscriptures83

"Such a powerful reminder to let go of the past so that we can embrace the future with open hearts. Trust in God’s plan and know that releasing what no longer serves us brings true freedom and peace. Thank you for sharing this wisdom!"

@MosheForman

Grateful for this amazing channel! You remind us that our worth is not tied to our job, and that better days are ahead. Thank you so much.

@LisaStegall-otw3

Yes, I can. When you remember the pain it's easy to let go

@CaminodeloSagrado

Letting go is one of the hardest but most necessary lessons in life. Sometimes, holding on weighs us down more than we realize. This story is a powerful reminder that true growth begins when we learn to release what no longer serves us. 🌿✨

@Girlsjustwannahavefun2321

Great lesson. 👍 Easier said than done though.

@TalesOfBecoming

This story really teaches us very important lesson that we can't change the things that happened with us in our past but we can control on how we can handle it.. letting go the sufferings, pain and our past is very important to move further in our life.❤❤ Love this story 💞💞😊

@AvesMuglestona

Everyone who reads this, we don’t know each other and probably never will, but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world. If you’re struggling right now, trust me—I know exactly how that feels. I spent years working hard but never really getting ahead. I thought success was all about effort, but I was missing something bigger. That changed the moment I read Manifest and Receive by Eva Hartley. I don’t know how to explain it, but my income doubled in just a few months, and for the first time, I feel like I truly understand how wealth works. If you’re reading this, maybe you were meant to. Wishing you all abundance and success. 💰✨

@NevilleGoddardFiles

It’s wild how we romanticize pain—like if we let go, we betray who we were. But what if letting go is the real loyalty to self?

@WhispersWithin79

🌿 “Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting. It means choosing peace over pain.”

I used to hold on to moments that no longer served me — regrets, disappointments, even silent expectations of people who never truly saw me. Letting go sounded poetic, but living it… felt like tearing pieces of my own identity away.

But the more I held on, the heavier life became.
And one morning, while riding my bike through quiet streets 🚴‍♂, I had a moment of clarity:
It’s not about erasing the past.
It’s about honoring it — without dragging it forward like a chain.

This video brought that feeling back — that still, gentle whisper that says:
“You’re allowed to release what hurt you, even if it once defined you.”

Yes, it’s easier said than done.
But peace isn’t passive — it’s a practice.
And freedom begins not when we forget… but when we choose to move anyway.

Thank you for this story — for this space.
For reminding me that strength isn’t in the holding…
🌅 It’s in the soft, silent unfolding.

2:14 Life really is about the small shifts in mindset. This part says it all.

@lisanidog8178

I’m sorry but this is very simplistic. Take for example me. Mom used to always say you have a mouth use it. Great advice! But of course she still never listened. I took from that past of whether I’m listened to or not I’m still gonna speak up. I’m still gonna use my voice. I can’t let that in my past go. My childhood wasn’t the greatest. But what I went through isn’t a burden, it made me better. NOT to be silent. NOT to let others tell me what when or if I should feel something. NOT to tolerate abuse. There are some things in one’s past that should never be forgotten. Only when it actually interferes yes, then you should try to overcome but your past will always be there. It’s a choice however to let things interfere but you can’t simply toss aside the past as if it never happened. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.

@mystolengoat7374

Thanks for this beautiful lesson ❤hope so this lesson brings peace in my life 😢

@leepatterson4355

Wonderful words of wisdom to take on board. Challenging change is not easy but to try is worth the outcome

@talesbynavi

Such a powerful lesson! We often carry burdens we don’t need to, making life harder than it has to be. Letting go isn’t easy, but it’s the key to true peace. This reminds me of a story I recently shared about a wise sage teaching a similar lesson—sometimes, a simple shift in perspective changes everything. If you enjoy stories like this, you might find it interesting too!
