I saw them at a small venue back in 1996, they played for over 2 hours. I’ve seen a lot of shows and UKJ is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I’ll never forget it. THEY ROCKED!!
I was listening to UKJ just the other day. They should’ve been so much bigger than they ever got. The production on their albums is so damn good and the guitar playing is awesome.
I think Milkmans Son is such an amazing song. Such an underrated band.
Nice to see someone admire Bon Scott! Sometimes he's the forgotten man from ACCA DACCA 🇦🇺
I used to get Ugly Kid Joe albums out of the library when i was a kid. Haven't thought about them again until watching this.
I remember that album America's least wanted being a really solid listen front to back. I used to listen to it while I did my homework
Just saw them this summer. They released four or five videos this past year. This band ROCKS HARD. The end.
You gotta admit, paying someone in $14 cash and Mountain Dew, a candy bar and a bag of Doritos is the most Rock 'n' Roll thing ever. LOVE "Everything About You" and their amazing (and surprising) cover of Harry Chapin's "Cat's In The Cradle." Major kudos on your Judas Priest British Steel t-shirt!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Extremely underappreciated. Great songwriting and often overlooked due to their party songs. Cloudy skies is a personal favorite. Funky fresh country club is a killer tune.
Their rendition of Harry Chapin's Cat's in the Cradle was simply haunting. Sad song with a message but theirs gave me chills. Love it. Also...broke up with a girl in junior high by requesting and dedicating Hate Everything About You. Rude in hindsight but legendary at the time.
I was in LOVE with Crane in the 90s! I still have them on a tape I recorded from the radio 😅. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they were still around last year but!
One of my all time favorite bands. Saw them in Vegas back in May. Amazing show. I’ve waited since high school to finally see them and I couldn’t be more happier. Whit’s sister was also at the show, funny you mention her. Rest in Peace, Moish Brennan
Saw these guys this year at The Machine Shop in Flint. They sounded great. Whitfields voice was strong.
I think of them as an awesome 80s/90s rock band 🤘
The EP was the first "album" I ever bought. Funk Fresh Country Club is still such a great song... in fact, I'm going to listen to it now...
What happened to them? They are still rockin out. I just saw them 2 months ago here in Spain. And they were awesome 🤘
Loved their 2nd album 'as ugly as they want to be'. Listened to that constantly back and forth.
I loved Ugly Kid Joe when I was in middle school, lol. I played the Cat's in the Cradle song for my dad as a kid, to try to inform him of how things were going, and where they would go in the future. He didn't listen. He has a lot of regret now.
I remember that summer. I bought America's Least Wanted and Jackyl's self titled album on the same day and i wore them out
