Came for the Dot notation. And learnt VSTACK and TAKE formulas. That's Leila G for you
Team EFFICIENCY. You can't be stubborn with one option, it depends when you need TRIM or TABLE. But Leila, wow, wow, wow!!! You can never stop to amaze us. This is a brilliant one.
I have a spreadsheet that uses an incredibly long formula loaded with full range column references, its slow as molasses when calculating, using trimrange was just too much hassle to add into an already long formula (its easily a paragraph). After seeing this on the dot I edited the formula and OMG what a difference in calculation speed, from 10 seconds down to about 1 sec.....unbelievable !!! Thanks for sharing !!
It's not just that Leila Gharani knows Excel; it is the fact that she explains it better than anyone else.
Iβve used Excel for years and even taught it. I have never heard of this before. It was worth getting up this morning, I learned something today. Thank you. I can use the heck out of this. π
Team Diplomat β Team Table on my own sheets, but I deal with a lot of sheets made by others who are Team Trim. This will definitely make life easier!
WOW I needed that Dot long before I retired 4 years ago... Been supporting Excel since WELL BEFORE the MS-Office phase and there was only 1-2-3 for PCs. I needed the Dot 25+ years ago.
Team Diplomat π Because better to be flexible and adapt to challenges than to be limited to a single method. This is really awesome and I am going to use it a lot! Thank you so much for creating/sharing this video!
Team Diplomat - I donβt use Excel that regularly but whenever I need it I can save a lot of time with things I learned from your videos. I also recommend this channel to everyone who is struggling with Excel or needs some tips to improve their workflow. This channel is a real goldmine!
Hi, thanks for the video. I am retired and no longer work with excel and certainly never mastered it BUT I love to learn. You explanations are GREAT! Thank you and have a great day.

Team Trim, Everytime i learn something new and interesting in your video and love your simplicity in explaining in the most simplest ways
Wow. Before I needed a complicated FILTER. Wonderful
Team diplomat. I use tables 95% of the time, but when i need those spilling functions, this is going to help significantly.
That mouse drop was π₯ π
Team Table. More than ten years ago, you taught me the "Way Before" OFFSET method I still have in an Excel workbook. No more! I"m switching to the new version when I get March data. BRAVO!
I give it to Excel - how it is brining up such important functionality with simple and intuitive formulas. And kudos to you to teach everyone - just one person like you is adding to efficiency on huge scale that we can't even calcualte.
Leila, you are simply the best! I consider myself an expert (I write VBA including using classes). I defer to your superior talent! I have learned so much from your channel so many times! Thank you!
You have actually substantially changed my life with this information, and I cannot thank you enough
