Such a simple yet clever idea! I’ve been using Drambo on the iPad which has a similar functionality. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s a bit put off by the OT’s price tag!

I’m surprised that Ableton hasn’t incorporated the crossfader into its push design. They have it on the Apc40 and it works wonders. I almost picked a used octotrak this past holiday, should have pulled the trigger and got it especially after seeing all the added functionality of the crossfader

I had an issue with the slider not ending end up at 0 when fully at the A position, you can recalibrate by holding FUNC while powering up and select test mode

In Australia the Elektron Octatrack retails for $2,999 (AUS). I expect the slider to be very robust and of the highest quality😊

Ive got this crazy plan where i finally give up and buy an OT on my retirement. Ive got 4 elektrons but have always held off, waiting for the fabled"performance mixer" essentially a heat mixed with the ot slider. I will wait. I have time. (56yrs old) 🤣👍

I always wanted an octatrack but I keep waiting for the mk3 version and I understand the rule of buy it for whatbit does now but soon as I’d get a octa they’d release a mk3. I considering more the op xy AND op 1 feild as those two “fit the best “ “ buy them for what they do NOW”
