@amh5209

thanks for the wired airdrop tip, my mac is usually in clamshell mode, wifi off and ethernet cable is on so this is super super helpful for me and i had absolutely no idea it exists

@CharlesLouisRosario

It occured to me after so much research into productivity that I have one of the best tools with the Apple ecosystem especially with the new updates!

@CarlosBenjamin

I briefly owned some AirPods this past Christmas. They start hurting my ears in under a half hour and the pain is pretty bad. They also fall out of my ears repeatedly in even less time than the pain. My wife now has them and they work for her. While I was wearing them though, automatically switching to whatever device I started using was like magic! I want that functionality back in a device I can actually wear.

@barrytipton1249

I love my Apple Eco System. I have never thought of transferring files via wired connection...great tip!

@SpanishwithJames

The three-finger copy and paste will be a game changer for me! Those seconds spent pressing, holding, and tapping ā€˜copy’ and ā€˜paste’ really add up when you use the Universal Clipboard as much as I do. Thanks!

@sushilvr

I don't subscribe too often, but I just luv the way you present yourself, the information, the background, etc. Your voice is easy to listen to, luv your enthusiasm and the vid was enjoyable. I'm a Mac fangirl and have been out of touch with the latest OS; life has been keeping me busy. Thanks for sharing all the info.! Cheers

@edwardsy3430

I'm just absolutely speechless with how you used the ipad case to prop up your iphone at 3:18! That's some peak multitasking. Gotta start doing it myself too. Do you mind sharing what type of case you used for this one?

@SorryImCanadian

I did know all this, but I forgot about airdop over cables, this might end up being useful.

@makeshiftgamer5864

I’m sure all Apple users can agree: they need to add a way to pin your own devices in the airdrop menu!! As someone who studies at my uni’s library, whenever I need yo airdrop I have to be super quick before everyone else’s devices pop up in the menu and push mine out of the way (because it’s currently alphabetical)

@JasonGroom

7:19 the issue with hotspot is that a lot of carriers will really limit your usage, even on unlimited plans, unless you pay a fair bit more. Even before they cut your data off, they will often cripple your speeds

@Joe-fn9mi

6:30 - this confuses me. Im in the EU and when people call me, all my devices ring. Regardless where my phone is. I sometimes answer on the iPad If thats closer to me

@dazzarg5

This was great. I need to work out the signature part, though

@konstantinosbalaskonis4553

thanks for the annotation tip!

@brandon2755

Never would have known about the wired airdrop, that’s awesome.

You didn’t really highlight the most convenient part of the hotspot feature. You can just turn on a hotspot with an android phone and it works the same. The ā€œAppleā€ part is that if you have your iPad signed into the same account as your iPhone, you don’t need to go into your iPhone to enable the hotspot. You can open WiFi settings in the iPad and it keeps your iPhone hotspot at the top of the list and you can just simply connect at any time without even unlocking your iPhone.

@SienjorQueso

The call transferring definitely is available in EU, also taking a call on your iPad

@FastWReX

The three finger copy / paste is genius. Didn't know that. Does that work within the same device? Like copy some code from ChatGPT and then paste it into Terminus?

@expectopatronum21

my set up includes , MacBook Air 15 M3 16 gb 512 GB, iPad Air M1 64 Gb, iPhone 15 128 Gb, Apple Watch series 8 GPS + cellular, AirPods Max and AirPods gen 3. this completes my apple ecosystem. I love the seamless transition it provides. Love this apple world that I have consolidated

@Sandbag1974

@Simon - great content as always. Love your tips and LifeOS :). Was traveling from the US to Italy in April and just happened to see your Skiilshare class "Productivity Make Easy" as a free class for the 8 hour flight. Was great - congrats on all the success

@witatter1

I didn’t know about transferring movies from phone/ipad over to Mac book. I’ll have to try that one out. I use my iPad as my main device. I have tons of files and pdf docs that i keep on the iCloud. I used to just keep on the device but had an issue with an iPad and learned my lesson.
