@NatureSoundsImages

Tony , Chelsea, I hope you can help me. My 17-year-old son really wants to study photography. His grandfather was a successful photographer, and I did it for a while too. But honestly, I'm worried that studying photography as a career isn't a great idea anymore, especially with all this artificial intelligence. I'm scared my son will end up with a degree that's only good for a hobby. Any thoughts or advice would be really appreciated

@ettcha

Any word from the grapevine on if in-camera security is coming (access control, tracking, digital marking etc)
Whats the most foward thinking camera available to the public, in your opinion.
Is Adobe still on your naughty list?
Have you been laptop shopping lately? What do you think of the offerings out there?

@nelsoncam123

why is sony the only company with a low light aimed camera (eg a7s series) wouldn't all these 1 inch point and shoots or microfour thirds models greatly benefit from sub 12 megapixel both for low light and for readout speed "a la computational photography!"
(dji at 10mp is phenomenal)

@Jake12399

I want to ask you about financial questions. I know you understand the market better than I do.

@Ill_look_back_on_in_disgust

Just wanna say I love you guys. Been watching you for well over a decade!

@darrylsaunders2008

Do you think the growth of third party lens companies like viltrox and ttartisan have helped photographers who can’t afford OEM lens and do you think AI and advanced auto focus has made photographers lazy , I started with a Pentax spotomatic,to a yashica mat ,canon 40D, to 7d mk2 , to now to a a7 111 and a7r5 and although I love AF I think I was a better photographer during my film days as I was forced to slow down focus and observe more - I have tried to slow down but the advanced af of my a7r5 which I love makes it hard to slow down and my bision to manually focus isn’t like it used to be

@MattCheol

In the past you have mentioned you convert to DNG upon import into LR, now in 2025 has anything changed or do you still consider this best practice for your use? Are the pros/cons still the same as 2017 or are there any new considerations.

@KenTechAdventures

What is the sharpest E-mount lens you have used?

@altonmarsh

Is it true that pros use only one or two lenses? I have nine and mar therefore sell some of them. My landscape workshop leader says he uses a 24-105 for more than half of all the shots he takes.

@25Dzone

The question we all need the answer to: how the heck is Chelsea so pretty?

@rudyrodriguezjr.

Do you guys go to see movies at the theater? My wife and I love to see movies at a full house theater but unfortunately it seems to not be a thing anymore. It's not the same as watching an action movie at home. Just curious. I asked people at work all the time.

@dphphoto

What piece of gear do the two of your opinions differ the most?

@anderstremhoff32

Chelsea and Tony, would, or have you ever used vintage lenses on a professional video or photo job? Thank you.

@aviatorman8

First I’d like to thank you for the incredible work you guys have been doing. I always enjoy watching your videos. I’d like to know if you have any new info or updates regarding a smart camera with computational capabilities, specifically the exposure blend to produce a single Raw with insane DR? I’m tired of bracketing. Thanks!

@angeloplayforone

Please make a video about past statements Tony made:
1. Micro Four Thirds is dead
2. APS-C is not needed
3. We will have a $500 FF camera
4. Sony has drones, smartphones, camcorders and mirrorless hence they will dominate
5. GFX of Fuji hasn’t caught up and may be a failure.

Make it a live video where we take one subject a time and reactions from viewers.

@rologti

How did you get making photography for living? Did you study something before, did you work in something before or in paralel?

@grumpygrandpah1737

I’m recently retired and reaching back into my photography interests that basically stalled out for the last 14 years. I have Canon gear, basically 40D and 7D with 5 varied lenses of which one is a 2.8L 70-200 USM EF. I’m thinking just upgrade enough (90D) body on used equipment sales and resist upgrading entirely to mirror less R10 and any “needed” lenses to make use of the platform changes? Any suggestions or pro’s / con’s as advice? Photography for retirement is going to be for self satisfaction, record vacations and travel. Thank you both for your valuable insight and you tube content.

@danielclewley8147

Did Nikon stop making the batteries, En El 4a, for the D700 battery grip, and F6…and then stop those off market batteries from working on those models?

@simonfenigstein1073

What do you think about the resurgence of film photography? Would you do a video about film cameras you have and do you still use film (other than instant cameras)?

@olesheim

Tell us about your passion for wildlife photography. More about how, less about gear. Are camo and blinds a necessity? Or do you just have to sit still and wait for birds, etc.? Do you feed wildlife? Use camera traps? And more… 😊
