I had a lady show up to my class and she told us how to find a job after trade school and when it came to resumes she basically told us we had to make them look very professional and very dull if we try to make it look unique like an art project they will most likely be thrown out and ignored. The recruiter probably thought they were doing you a favor

I had something similar happen to me with my resume, it caused my job searching to go up to 6 months when it could have been up to 3 😤. Recruiters like that are one of the reasons why I think suicide rates are high.
