I went to Xavier University in the mid to late 80’s. There were SEVERAL female students who wouldn’t date us college guys because we didn’t have lots of cash or expensive cars. Female I knew, only dated local drug dealers, and did cocaine, and rarely showed up for classes. She ultimately got a degree because her father was a big time attorney who gave the school money. She later on in life, was morbidly OBESE, trying to go out on dates with guys who were in college with her, that she purposely ignored

True story. A sister from Spelman College in Atlanta dated a dude from the drug gang BMF. They were balling, living the high life, endless money and cars and a nice house. Indictments came down, the girl from Spelman's boyfriend decided to snitch. One of the men he was going to snitch on sent a hitman to make sure dude didn't get to court. He found the snitch and his girl still in bed. Both got blasted, both died. The dude that put the hit on them, Tremayne G. was married to the daughter of Atlanta's mayor, Shirley Franklin. Chicks would come to the club where I worked for a few years, with the big drug dealers and call the security men broke, that girl getting blasted with her man was always on my mind.
