Interesting videos. I got my ID.4 Pro S in late April and really like the car. Everyday is a learning experience, and your videos are a great help. Thank you.
Love the video and your candor attitude about something so simple a lot of us who still have ICE cars, but strive to own an EV, may not understand. I'm an IT guy soci get it. I literally work 5 or so mile away from home so in the very beginning I plan to trickle charge with a 110v 20 amp outlet. I have some charge places here in town and a Tesla charger/super charger near by as well. I'm convinced more and more that charging and range anxiety is all in our heads. It definitely was in mine before I truly understood my lifestyle and daily commute and how easy it would be to own and maintain an EV. I'm here in Virginia and I'm jealous of that awesome California weather you guys get out there 😊
Thanks, here in the UK we have a 7kw Level 2 charger at home, charges our ID4 at about 25mph, I have also found the vw scheduling does not work, like u said hopefully VW will sort when they start doing their over the air updates later this year, keep up the informative videos, would be good to see one on your solar setup in the future 👍
My wife had a model 3 and we charge on a standard outlet. We live in Chicago. The only time we supercharge is when it gets really cold outside.
An interesting video on how you charge your car in a warm climate. I think it works really well for you. However, compared to a city dweller, say in a flat and a cold climate, the experience is vastly different.
To start charging do you have to do anything inside the car, or does it recognize that you plugged in? If i don't care about setting a schedule will it matter?
